Over the next several months I will be writing on websites, accessories, furniture, jewelry, etc., that I have found and love.  I include this in design because everything will be a charismatic, unique and inspiring.  So without further adieu…

20ltd   www.20ltd.com .  Based in the UK, this site promotes luxuriously designed products that are limited to editions of 20.  At the time of this writing they include a £40,000 Hellcat Combat motorcycle by Confederate that looks like it came out of a futuristic sci-fi thriller, a spectacular set of luggage by Globetrotter, code named Domino to a very cool cashmere t-shirt by Hvana.  Check out this purveyor of great products.  You may or may not be able to afford anything, but one thing is guaranteed, you will want everything!

Nespresso  www.nespresso.com

Espresso machines and individual tins by Nespresso.  Boy have we come a long way from the big and clunky machines of only a few years ago.  Nespresso, the brand owned by Nestle has very quickly found a large following for their gorgeously designed espresso and cappuccino machines, not to mention their individual packs of espresso that are deliciously and aesthetically designed, coming in assorted colors that I have no doubt has been incorporated into an art installation or two.  The fact that their menu for the different flavors of espresso is huge, doesn’t hurt either.  If you find yourself in New York City, check out the only Nespresso café in the United States at 761 Madison Avenue.  www.nespresso.com

Mekanism Skateboards  www.mekanismskateboards.com

I realize that including a skateboard manufacturer on a list of some of my favorite finds may risk getting laughed at, but before  you start making up your mind about these toys of your childhood, look to Paris based skateboard company Mekanism.  This leading edge company has invited French graffiti artist Space Invader to decorate some of their products in of course extremely limited editions.  I don’t know if you would as much ride one as you would hang it on  your wall.  Stunning.
